First, I would do some research and print out the different class 9 series rules, this will serve as your best guideline to putting the car back together. Next would be finding  a motor builder that knows the class, there are many lil secrets they use to assemble the motors, Southern Arizona Limited is a good sourse on this, however a turn key motor will cost ya.. but worth every penny.  then speak with the chassis / front end people, although I have not used Doug Silcock myself, I am told he is the sourse for the right front end parts. I use Southern Arizona Limited , for this as well and Brent McKee built  my front end and I havent had one even come close to failing, so there are two good sources for the front ends...both very similar BTW. Put it all together, shake real well and go drive....  Oh ya welcome to the insanity!!!!

When I moved to San Felipe, Baja I had never raced off road before.  I had years of experience in road racing and knew absolutely nothing about off road racing.  I located a team in San Felipe with a 5-1600 car and I joined that team as a helper/mechanic/chaser and that's how I learned off-road racing.
